Pippin

Did Çombat today at noon with Tanya. Went up on stage for the last few songs. It was tough. My legs felt like they were really stiff today.

I weighed in at

Climbed with Dave Laird. 5.6, 5.9, 5.10a and a 5.10b.

Jen and I had a nice walk after seeing Pippin.

WHAT I ATE TODAY
Flax Bagel with light cream cheese, banana, strawberries and yogurt, Booster Juice, Mango Lassi, Butter Chicken, Spinach, melon, pakoras, garlic naan, tandooori chicken, mango lemonade, saag paneer, ice cream, little chocolate bar.

RELAX don't do it, when you gonna get to it!

Rest Day. I really need it. Jumping back in with both feet yesterday has left me a bit sore. Yoga with Yvonne at St Clair noon hour.

Although in some ways, I'm glad that I upped the weights this week, I think I should have eased into it more knowing that I was going to be climbing in the evening. Muscles are sore in the legs, back and shoulders. I'm getting old.

We were planning on going spinning this morning, but that didn't happen. The bed was way too cozy. I'm busy tonight, so can't make it to the gym to do anything else.

Scale said 159 lbs today at St Clair.

WHAT I ATE TODAY
Banana, two Lick's Homeburgers with all the fixin's, Soy Bagel with light Cream Cheese, Orange Juice, Halloween candy, lentil soup, 2 peanut butter sandwiches.

Pump it Up

Mid Week and I'm back into it. Woke up tired. Did Yoga with Yvonne at St Clair followed by Pump with Tanya. Went back to heavier weights, but it was a struggle.

One trend that I have noticed is that I am not eating when I first get up. That has to change, otherwise even if I am working out hard, my body will start storing fat if it's always hungry.

Climbing with Jen tonight. Our first night out climbing since race season began over two months ago. First climb was tough, but the rest went suprisingly well. Started off on a climb that was more than a 5.6, followed by 5.7, 5.8, 5.9, 5.10a and then a 5.7 to finish. I was feeling very strong by the end and probably could have doen a 5.10b or higher. I"m pretty sure it was technique that got me through. I'm still overcompensating on the right side for my left shoulder injury last year.

Jen and I had a very nice relaxing evening and gave ourselves time to massage each other before bedtime. It really helps in the recovery, particularly since we're still recovering from a grueling race season.

Banana, yogurt granola bar, beef and chicken skewer, veggie hot dog, pickle, Booster Juice, mango salad, ginger thai noodles, green curry veggies, rice, sticky rice and mango, mango shake, spring roll, fried tofu.

Friday night Fight

Friday's entry seems to have dissappeared!!! Here is it expanded...

Combat today at noon with Tanya at St Clair. It was tough. I don't know if my body is still in recovery mode or it's all the crap I've been eating this week.

Banana, BK Fish Sandwich, veggie dogs on flax bread, lots of pickles, strawberries, DQ Brownie sundae, Green Goodness Juice.

Tuesday Ketchup

Eating has been out of control now that Winter has hit and I'm in recovery mode from the Angus Glen 1/2 Marathon this weekend.

Saturday was a Do Nothing day prior to the 1/2 Marathon.

On Sunday, we got Jen in under 2:15, which pretty much counts as a training run for her. Her goal is sub 2:00 next season, I think that is do-able. My ankle flared up again, it wasn't fully recovered from Ottawa. That evening, I started my Learn to Skate on Ice program. Carolyn, Dorata and Jacky were doing it as well, and Morgan might start next week. Morgan mentioned that I shouldn't tell them I'm coming from Inline given the politics. Gotta love politics.

I found Ice a bit wobbly. I can't quite do crossovers yet. It will definitely force me to use my edges and weight transfer.

Monday and Tuesday I pretty much did no physical activity, which was tough.

Tomorrow I am back on the Fitness bandwagon!!!
