Taper continues

I did half a yoga class this morning.

WHAT I ATE TODAY
Banana, Booster Juice with Warrior Boost, Campbell Chunky Beef Soup, Goldfish crackers, Salmon in dill sauce, ice tea, hot chocolate, veggie bacon, Campbell's tomato pasta soup.

Tapery Day

Woke up, still sore and tired. Moved some boxes. Body Flow this evening.

WHAT I ATE TODAY
Lentil Soup, bananas and strawberry yogurt, flax bagel and light cream cheese with veggie bacon, pickles, ice tea, Edemame, Green Tea, Spicy Tuna, Salmon and tempura avocado maki.

Tired

Went to Tanya's combat class today, was going to take it easy, but I can never seem to do that. Had energy I didn't think I had despite my body being tired from yesterday.

I'll have to take the rest of the week to rest up for Duluth.

Apple, flax bagel and light cream cheese, Booster Juice with Warrior boost, pickles, salmon in dill sauce. Flax Bagel and light cream cheese with veggie bacon, green juice.

101 km

Had a great skate this morning with Joel as our benchmark for A2A. We did the approx 42k route around his house first with all the hillwork, before skating down to the Hamilton Trail and then down the sideroad to Beamsville and then back to the start of the Hamilton Beach Trail. Total: 101 km in approx 4hours 34 minutes.

What I learned from this runs was that I need to be eating and drinking more. 20 K left I was struggling and coming close to bonking again within the last 5 k. Otherwise didn't feel too bad other than fighting the wind and hills. Joel and I shared the work fairly equally.

WHAT I ATE TODAY:
Flax Bagel with light cream Cheese, green juice, 2 banana, 2 fruit strips, 2 power gels, Gatorade, Ice Tea, stuffed fish fillet, rice, veggies, cream of broccoli soup with cheese, Gyros on a Pita, bread and butter, 1/2 Bagel, Salmon Burger, salad with pickles.
